So this evening we went to Gatwick with a very chatty taxi driver. There was no doubt he voted ‘leave’ and we talked about that and our trip to Sri Lanka on the way – he did say he would follow this blog!
Okay, so the flight was delayed by an hour which meant that we only left at about 11pm – arriving in Dubai about 4.30am (UK time) – but it did give John time to play with his new favourite gadget (see photo) – a digital scales for getting all our luggage just right. You have been weighed in the scales and found wanting 🙂 (Yep, groans from Abi & Sophie as we had quick memory test on Daniel.)
