Jason Mandryk, one of the authors of Operation World, published a short eBook a couple of weeks ago entitled Global Transmission, Global Mission: The Impact and Implications of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Mandryk explores the possible ramifications of the pandemic for church and mission. It is a sobering and thought-provoking read. At a time when many of us are understanding that this current crisis is not just something to get-over but a transition into a new era, it is a welcome contribution. He suggests that, “There is no return to normal because whatever we had before was not normal. There are parts of our old ways that we shouldn’t want to go back to! There are also real opportunities to use the current upheaval to bring about positive change to our lives, our communities, and our societies.

The Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS) have also made suggestions about what churches might look like as lockdown is eased. You can read this here.
