Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

OUR VALUES

We aim to be passionate about Christ and about becoming more like Him. We believe we are called to be a fellowship characterised by :

bullet

GODLINESS with a joyful commitment to God’s standards.

bullet

GRACE shown in generosity and trust, in allowing space to grow…and to make mistakes! … a fellowship of mercy and forgiveness. We believe in affirmation with integrity, and in love which is patient, gentle, accepting and encouraging.

bullet

INTEGRITY – as individuals and a fellowship we are not perfect, but we want to be transparent.

bullet

UNITY AND PEACE as all kinds of people respond to the call of God. We believe in peace with righteousness and truth. Difficult processes are at times necessary to accomplish this.

bullet

CLEAR PURPOSE as we obey Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations. We are committed to becoming better equipped to do God’s work.

bullet

WHOLENESS as we seek a transformation of people and society through the power of God. The responsibility to proclaim the Good News is not divorced from genuine concern and appropriate action to alleviate distress and to promote truth and justice.

bullet

SERVANT LEADERSHIP which refuses to abuse power, listens and gives consideration to all, relying on God for wisdom.

bullet

HUMILITY which acknowledges that we have a long way to go in our journey with Christ, and a lot to learn.

bullet

REPENTANCE as although we aim to be Christ-like, we are conscious that at times we fail in this. This is serious and should lead to continuing change.

bullet

VALUING OUR HISTORY as we rejoice in past relationships and work.

bullet

OPENNESS to new ways of working and to new relationships, albeit with proper evaluation.

Galatians 5:22-23

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithful-ness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Jesus said

"Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me."
John 15:4
