  Philippians 2:3-5
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.

DISABLED ACCESS

The church has been extensively modified to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act and has implemented its recommendations on good practice.  The following are key points of compliance:

bulletThe church building has wheel chair access into and around the majority of areas within the church.
bulletThe building is well signed and complies with current health and safety standards.
bulletThere is provision of two disabled toilets.
bulletHearing aid loops are provided within the church sanctuary and the largest meeting room.
bulletLarge text version of  the hymn books, weekly church notices and monthly Courier magazine are available on request.
bulletKey members of the church are disability aware.
bulletRegular audits are undertaken to ensure safety, repairs and improvements.

Every effort is taken to accommodate the disabled seeking to attend and worship at Rayners Lane Baptist Church. For further information and assistance please telephone the church on 020 8868 6772.

Car Parking
There are no designated disabled parking places on the church premises. What parking space there is is very limited and cannot be relied upon during busy periods. However, if parking is required on the premises please telephone the church before travelling on 020 8868 6772.  There is plenty of street parking around the church. However, it should be noted that restrictions apply to the free parking areas. In general no parking is allowed in these areas during the week between the hours of 10am and 11am to prevent commuters using them.

Quotes

I am not a theologian or a scholar, but I am very aware of the fact that pain is necessary to all of us. In my own life, I think I can honestly say that out of the deepest pain has come the strongest conviction of the presence of God and the love of God.
Elisabeth Elliot

"God is more concer-ned with conforming me to the likeness of His Son than leaving me in my comfort zones. God is more interested in inward qualities than outward circumstances - things like refining my faith, humbling my heart, cleaning up my thought life and strengthening my character."
Joni Eareckson Tada
