Requirements

Michael and Elizabeth have written suggesting a number of areas where RLBC members may be able to offer assistance in their mission work. These include:

·        Qualified TEFL teacher to teach at the summer school at the Royal University of Phnom Penh where Elizabeth currently works part-time. The summer school runs for a month usually during July.

·        Graphics Designer to provide training and guidance to trainee Cambodian graphic designer both in design principles and the use of graphic design software and to initiate new projects and contribute ideas to ongoing work.

·        IT Specialist to provide training in XML, UML, Java, ASP and other internet technologies to work with Michael and his team at www.thesaltedfish.com.kh.

·        Business Manager to assist with personnel management, business planning, market analysis and developing a marketing plan and launching a sales initiative.

Apart from these specific areas, Michael has also said help would be appreciated from anyone able to assist with the production of a magazine for garment factory workers or teach students in an art studio run my an American colleague. Basically if you have a particular skill which you could share with Cambodians (who are desperately short of teachers following the Pol Pot years when many teachers and professionals were killed) then you could make contact with Michael and discuss how best to make use of it. The most important part will be the sharing of how a Christian relates his or her faith to their profession.
